KOKRAJHAR ,JAN 6: Along with rest of the state,the final photo electoral rolls for five LACs in Kokrajhar and two LACs in Baksa districts of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) have been published on Monday amidst the presence of representatives from different political parties in the district headquarters respectively.
In Kokrajhar, the Kokrajhar District Commissioner’s Office has officially announced the publication of the Final Photo Electoral Roll for five Legislative Assembly Constituencies (LACs)-No. 1 Gossaigaon LAC, No.2 Dotma (ST) LAC, No.3 Kokrajhar (ST) LAC, No.4 Baokungri LAC and No.5 Parbatjhora LAC under the district.
Speaking the reporters at a press conference held at the Conference Hall of DC office, District Commissioner, Masanda Magdalin Pertin has stated that the final photo electoral roll was published officially today. She said that necessary initiative and measures have been taken while publication of the electorall roll.
She has urged the voters to ensure their details are accurately recorded in the final electoral roll. She emphasized the importance of this verification for smooth participation in the democratic process.
Eligible voters are encouraged to check their information on the official websites eoassam.nic.in and voters.eci.gov.in.
Additionally, voters can reach out to the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) at their respective polling stations or contact the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) for each Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC) for any clarifications.
The DC emphasized the importance of confirming the accuracy of voter details to ensure smooth participation in upcoming elections.
In Baksa, the final voter list for the 41 No. Manash Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC) and 42 No.Baksa (ST) LAC in Baksa district was officially released today by the District Election Officer.
According to the published data, 41 No. Manas LAC has a total of 2,06,353 voters, which includes 1,03,735 male voters and 1,02,618 female voters.
42 No. Baksa (ST) LAC has a total of 1,99,053 voters, comprising 98,405 male voters, 1,00,646 female voters, and 2 third-gender voters.
Baksa district now has 4,05,406 voters for two LACs, consisting of 2,02,140 male voters, 2,03,264 female voters, and 2 third-gender voters.
Additionally, the district has a total of 486 polling stations, with 245 polling stations in the Manash LAC and 241 polling stations in the Baksa (ST) LAC.
The District Election Officer has urged voters to verify their details and actively participate in the democratic process in the upcoming elections.
