KOKRAJHAR,MAY 17: A coordination meeting between Pramod Boro,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Col. Hari Thapa (107 Mountain Brigade), senior Army officials, and BTR government
representatives was held at the BTC Secretariat, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar on Saturday.
Notably, the prestigious football tournament Durand Cup returns for its third consecutive year to be held in Kokrajhar -the city of peace.
The meeting has been finalised the dates for the prestigious Durand Cup with effect from 18 July to 23 August 2025.
The discussed has emphasized towards the smooth successful of the ensuing Durand Cup in Kokrajhar.
CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro told that a co-ordination meeting with officials of Indian Army was held in Kokrajhar today,and discussed elaborately on the preparations,and reviewed for the Kokrajhar leg of the tournament for the third consecutive year to be held in July.
He said that Kokrajhar is get ready for another thrilling season of football action in Kokrajhar. The Durand Cup is returning to Kokrajhar from 18 July to 23 August 2025. I’m delighted to attend a meeting with Col. Hari Thapa, Deputy Commander, 107 Mountain Brigade, senior officers of the Indian Army, and Govt. of BTR officials, to finalise the dates and review preparations for the Kokrajhar leg of the tournament for the third consecutive year”, Boro said.
