KOKRAJHAR,MAR 15: Anil Kumar Basumatary, the vice-principal of Kokrajhar Girls’ College, passed away due to a pressure stroke late last night at his residence Tengapara in Kokrajhar. He was in his 50s.
According to sources, Basumatary suffered a sudden health complication and was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.
His untimely demise has sent shockwaves through the academic community and beyond. Colleagues, students, and well-wishers have expressed their grief.
He was actively associated with various social activities, including Dularai Bathou Gouthum, literary activities etc.
