CM Sarma attends NDA alliance workers’ meet in Dhaligaon

KOKRAJHAR,SEP 18: A party workers’ meeting of the NDA alliance partners -BJP, AGP and UPPL was held at the BRCCC auditorium, Dhaligaon in Chirang district on Wednesday.

The meeting discussed at length regarding the upcoming bye election to the Sidli Chirang LAC.The bye election to the Sidli Chirang LAC was necessitated following Joyanta Basumatary, MLA of Sidli Chirang,was elected to the Lok Sabha from Kokrajhar constituency recently held in May last.

Chief Minister of Assam,Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, Cabinet Ministers Urkhao Gwra Brahma,Ashok Singhal, Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), several senior leaders from NDA alliance partners BJP,AGP, UPPL parties were present,and addressed the party workers.

CM Sarma stated that the meeting has been focussed on the strengthening of the NDA alliance spirit, and UPPL candidate backed by NDA alliance will participate in the upcoming bye election at Sidli Chirang LAC scheduled to be October/November next.He said that AGP candidate backed by NDA alliance will contest in Bongaigaon LAC while BJP candidates will contest in Behalf, Dholai and Samaguri LACs in the upcoming bye elections in the state.

CM Sarma expresses his confident that NDA alliance candidate from UPPL party is getting last laugh from the Sidli Chirang LAC in a majority votes.He said that the NDA alliance partners are working dedicatedly towards the welfare and development of the citizens across the state.
He said that during the recently concluded Parliamentary elections, NDA alliance candidates received huge supports cutting across the communities in the state including Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency as UPPL candidate backed by NDA alliance won the Lok Sabha elections.
He mentioned that the NDA alliance spirit is going in a positive integrited,and rendering services for all round development of the society.

On a question about the EM of BTR, Arup Kumar Dey,Sarma stated that Dey’s remarks on the UPPL BJP alliance, has been noticed in present day which is not suited for the alliance spirit.He said that Dey has been asked to refrain from expressing any kinds of controversial remarks on the UPPL BJP alliance.He said that public representatives must render humanity welfare services to build a healthy society in their respective constituencies.He said that Dey’s controversial remarks has created chaos recent,and such unsuited remarks should be stopped.

CEM of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro said that the workers’ meet of the NDA alliance partners -BJP AGP and UPPL has been seen a healthy discussion on the upcoming bye election for Sidli-Chirang LAC.He stated that the meeting focussed on the key strategies and effective coordination building between the alliance partners to ensure an overwhelming victory in the upcoming bye election in the Sidli Chirang LAC.
