KOKRAJHAR, AUG 13: The marathon campaign of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma for the upcoming BTC elections scheduled to be held in September, has been seen continued with the goal of winning the Bodoland Territorial Region.
On Wednesday, CM Sarma addressed Vijay Sankalp Sabha in two different places including Banargaon and Guma constituencies in the district of Kokrajhar.
Sarma was ccompanied by Assam BJP President Dilip Saikia, Minister Ashok Singhal, BJP State General Secretary Diplu Ranjan Sharma.
CM Sarma said that the BJP party is fully prepared to contest the upcoming BTC elections with it’s own candidates.He said that the sitting MCLA of Banargaon,Rajib Brahma will be candidate for the Banargaon Constituency,and today a huge crowd of gathering was seen.
He has expressed his hopeful that BJP candidate will win the heart of the common masses in Banargaon Constituency.He further said that no any government will be formed in BTR without the help of BJP.He said that earlier the Bodoland region witnessed and plagued by factional clashes, extortion, and unrest,but now the region has been returned to the normalcy, and not a single bomb has been exploded.
He has affirmed that the the BJP’s base in the BTR has become stronger than before.
