KOKRAJHAR, JAN 10: The Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar (CITK) celebrated its second convocation on Wednesday being held at Bodofa Cultural Complex, Chandamari in Kokrajhar district.
During the event, a total of 531 students including 11 Ph D students, 94 postgraduate students, 261 undergraduate and 165 diploma students were conferred degrees and diplomas for the academic years of 2022 & 2023.

Remarkably, the CIT Kokrajhar is regarded as a premier technological institution in Bodoland Territorial Region districts which has been an incubator of academic excellence & development, imparting technical & vocational education to the industrious youth of Bodoland region.
The CIT Kokrajhar boasts of a robust alumni record, with 1345 diplomas, 2165 B.Tech, 84 B.Des, 101 M.Tech, 19 M.Des, and 11 Ph D degrees having been conferred over the years.

Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region graced the occasion as chief guest in the event. He has extended his warm congratulations and greetings to all achieving student fraternities of the educational institution, said that it is a good educational environment coming out in the region. He has expressed his pleasure while attending the event which has been witnessed a grand participation of the student and teaching fraternities.
