KOKRAJHAR,FEB 27: Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) on Thursday inaugurated the newly renovated Academic Block of Tamulpur Senior Secondary School amidst presence of students, teachers and local citizens in Tamulpur.
The academic block of the school was constructed by the department of Education, Government of BTR to facilitate educational improvement in the region.
The senior secondary school in Tamulpur has been regarded as a premier educational institution in the district.
CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro stated that the newly renovated academic block of the senior secondary school will extend services in the improvement of educational infrastructures.He said that the government of BTR has initiated various initiatives towards the ushering of sustainable development of educational environment across the region.
“Furthering our efforts to vastly improve educational infrastructure in BTR, today I inaugurated the newly renovated Academic Block of Tamulpur Senior Secondary School”, Boro said.
CEM Boro,also laid the foundation stone for a new road at Maraigaon village, marking a step forward in enhancing connectivity in Goreswar constituency in Tamulpur district.
He also visited and offered prayers to Bathou Bwrai at the revered Bathou Mandir, seeking blessings for peace & progress.
He was accompanied by MCLA Pabitra Boro and dignitaries of Goreswar on the occasion.
