KOKRAJHAR, DEC 10: In a surge of development in Bodoland region, Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), in the presence of Deputy chief of BTR, Gabinda Basumatary inaugurated the newly constructed Office of the Director of Panchayat & Rural Development in BTR headquarter Kokrajhar on Monday.
The G+2 building was completed at an estimated cost of ₹6.5 crore from the government of Bodoland Territorial Region.
Notably, the government of BTR is working dedicatedly towards the welfare and development of the communities since it’s inception in the reign.
CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro stated that the modernized office would significantly improve the administration and implementation of developmental initiatives for the holistic growth of rural areas within BTR. He has emphasized the importance of efficient governance and infrastructure in ensuring the success of rural development programs across the region.
He mentioned that the government of BTR has launched various mission and visions towards the uplift of the region, including Bodofa Super 50 mission for UPSC/APSC, Bodoland Handloom Mission, Bodoland Sericulture Mission etc in it’s four year reign in the region.
The event was attended by senior officials from the Panchayat & Rural Development Department and other dignitaries.
