KOKRAJHAR,AUG 1: The chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR),Pramod Boro dedicated for the welfare of the student fraternities by inaugurating various newly constructed educational infrastructures at Bijni of Chirang and Salbari of Baksa district on Thursday amidst presence of public representatives, students and senior government officials.
In Bijni, CEM Boro inaugurated the newly built the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Girls’ Hostel type IV at the Borobazar Higher Secondary School complex.
The newly built hostel will be a ‘home away from home’ for girl students from remote parts of the area, and will ensure a safe, peaceful & learning-conducive environment for bright young girls in the region.
In Salbari, the new main school block of Iragdaow L.P. School, with smart fenced boundary wall & iron gate was formally inaugurated by CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro.The bew school building of Mainaogami LP school, with three new classrooms, electrical works & toilet with septic tank were also inaugurated on the occasion under Salbari constituency of Baksa district.
CEM Boro said that the government of BTR is working tirelessly to enhance the educational infrastructures in the entire Bodoland region.
He has expressed his hopeful that the new facilities which are initiated by BTR Govt will greatly enhance the academic infrastructure of the schools, and help build a conducive learning environment for the children of the area.
He said that education department of Bodoland Territorial Region government has launched various educational mission, and visions like Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma super 50 mission etc through which student fraternities are acquiring higher studies in their life.
He informed that the BTR government since it’s inception, has tendered relentlessly services towards the welfare and development for all round across the region,and achieved the today’s juncture.
On a question about the upcoming bye election at Sidli Chirang LAC, Boro,who is also UPPL president said that the UPPL party under the NDA alliance is fully prepared to contest the bye election which is scheduled to be held in September next. He said that the election is getting held on due date,and schedule,and accordingly his UPPL party is prepared necessary strategy for fielding candidate under the banner of NDA alliance.
He has expressed his confident that the UPPL candidate backed by NDA alliance is getting majority support cutting across the communities in Sidli -Chirang constituency as peoples are waiting to vote in favour of NDA alliance candidate.
“UPPL candidate backed by NDA alliance is winning the Sidli-Chirang LAC in a majority votes.There will be no any big impact of the oppositions in the bye elections, especially Sidli Chirang constituency”,Boro said.
