KOKRAJHAR,OCT 9: In a noble step for building healthy educational uplift, a total of 2,112 teachers, including 1,734 LP teachers and 378 UP teachers across the five districts of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) received appointment letters at a appointment letter distribution ceremony being held at the Bodofa Cultural Complex, Chandamari in Kokrajhar on Wednesday.

The chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro on distributed appointment Letters (Regularisation of Services) to the contractual and State Pool Teachers of Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) schools under Samagra Shiksha in BTR districts like Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Tamulpur and Udalguri.

The ceremonial distribution was attended by BTC Legislative Assembly Speaker Katiram Boro, MLAs Lawrence Islary, Jiron Basumatary, BTC executive members Dr Nilut Swargiary, Wilson Hasda, BTC Principal Secretary Akashdeep among others.

Notably,the teachers of the five districts-Kokrajhar, Chirang , Baksa and Udalguri of Bodoland Territorial Region,were received the appointment letters(Regularisation of Services) to 2,112 teachers including 1,734 LP and 378 UP contractual and State Pool Teachers under Samagra Shiksha in BTR.

CEM Boro stated that the government of BTR and Govt of Assam is jointly working dedicatedly towards the welfare and uplift of the educational environment across the state,and today subsequently distributed the appointment letters to the teachers of LP and UP schools in Bodoland region.He has opined that the education is the backbone of the social welfare and development amongst the human living.

“Education is the only way for building a student, a generation and a society”,Boro said.
He has extended heartiest congratulations to all regularised teachers of the Bodoland region.

Services of 1,734 Lower Primary and 378 Upper Primary teachers from Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa & Udalguri districts will now be regularised, thus fulfilling yet another promise made to the people of BTR. My heartiest congratulations to the teachers whose services have been regularised today. I’m confident that they will continue to work for the bright future of all students of BTR”, Boro said.
