KOKRAJHAR, JUNE 28: A meeting on the final presentation by officials of NEDFi, Guwahati and experts on “Resource Mapping for Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and pre-investment feasibility study for preparation of a development and investment plan for BTR” was held at the Conference Hall of DC office, Tamulpur, on Friday.
Pramod Boro,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, chaired the meeting, and attended by deputy CEM of BTR, Gabinda Chandra Basumatary, BTR executive members, Ranjit Basumatary, Rakesh Brahma, Reoreoa Narzihary,and NEDFI executive director,SK Baruah, MLA Jolen Daimary.
The presentation has covered potential sectors for investment in BTR, and generation of employment & revenue in the short, medium & long terms, thus boosting the socio-economic growth of BTR.
CEM Boro has expressed his hopeful that the presentation event will benefitted for the peoples in Bodoland region in the field of socioeconomic upliftment across the region.
