KOKRAJHAR,FEB 14: The executive council (EC) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) was held at the BTC Secretariat conference hall, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar on Friday ahead holding the first ever Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly in Kokrajhar.
Notably, the Buffet Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly will take place on February 17 at Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly House which is regarded as first ever out of the Assam Legislative Assembly House on its calendar schedules.
The meeting was chaired by Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, that reviewed the preparations for the first-ever Budget & Assembly Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly in the BTC Legislative Assembly, and discussed several other important developmental agenda.
This landmark event marks a significant milestone in the legislative history of BTR, and Kokrajhar – the City of Peace – is ready to welcome all dignitaries on this historic occasion.
CEM Boro also held a meeting with office staffs and developmental officials of BTC Secretariat regarding the prepration for holding the Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly in Kokrajhar scheduled on February 17.He said that the necessary preparation and arrangements are going in full swing to meet a grand success as per the scheduled of the session.

Meanwhile, CEM Pramod Boro chaired a review meeting with senior officials of the Govt. of BTR on Thursday evening at the BTC Secretariat.
He said that he had detailed discussions on the progress of key projects & schemes under the departments of Education, Health & Family Welfare, Sericulture, and Panchayat & Rural Development, along with government’s flagship initiatives, Bodoland Happiness Mission and Green Bodoland Mission.
” Emphasised on last-mile delivery of services to citizens and welfare schemes to the rightful beneficiaries, for the holistic development of BTR. We are also in the process of developing a Vision Document for Govt. of BTR, after successfully launching the Community Vision Document, and we had detailed discussions regarding the launch of the same soon”, Boro said.
