KOKRAJHAR, AUG 28: A one-day seminar on Women Social Leadership was held at the BTCLA Auditorium, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar on Wednesday.
The program was organised by Government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) towards the empowerment of women across the Bodoland region.
Hundreds of women leaders representing different field of women social organisations participated the event which have emphasized the empowerment of women across the Bodoland region.
Pramod Boro,the chief executive member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region, graced the occasion, opined for bringing uplift and welfare of the women fraternities in Bodoland region.
CEM Boro stated that the government of BTR has been emphasizing for bringing empowerment of women across the region.He said that the BTR government has initiated many mission and visions towards the welfare and development of the social integration
” In the last three years, our Govt. of BTR has emphasised the empowerment of BTR’s incredible women towards taking up positions of leadership in society. Our efforts in this regard have helped the women of BTR to achieve socio-economic independence and contribute as equal partners in the development of Bodoland”, CEM Boro said.
