CEM Pramod Boro addresses election campaigning meeting at Nishima in Sidli LAC

KOKRAJHAR, NOV 7: The massive electioneering campaign of various political parties including ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) for the Sidli LAC bye-election scheduled on November 13 has been gained momentum.

There are three candidates are in the fray to contest the bye-elections in Sidli constituency, alongside other four assembly constituencies in the state of Assam.
This bye-election, triangular contest is to be witnessed in Sidli LAC, Nirmal Kumar Brahma of UPPL,Sanjib Wary of Congress and Suddha Kumar Basumatary of BPF are key contestants for the upcoming bye elections.

Nearly 217,000 voters are franchising their democratic voting rights in 273 polling stations on voting day scheduled on November 13 across the Sidli constituency in Chirang district.
The district administration,and election authorities have made necessary arrangement and preparation for hosting the bye election in a free and fair environment.

On Thursday, Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, and UPPL president, Assam cabinet minister,Dr Ranoj Pegu,and several UPPL and NDA alliance leaders have addressed a we’ll attended gathering of election campaign meeting held at the at Malivita Bazar,Anando Betini and Koila Moila in support of UPPL candidate, backed by the NDA alliance, Nirmal Kumar Brahma.

A huge crowd of party leaders, workers and well wishers under Nishima block participated the meeting,and extended their support to the UPPL candidate,and backed by the NDA alliance in the upcoming bye elections.
Hundreds of new members from different political parties including BPF party joined the UPPL party during the campaigning program as common masses across the communities are coming forward to extend support to the UPPL and NDA alliance, and all newly joined members were offered warm welcome and felicitation to the UPPL family.

CEM Pramod Boro stated that peoples from all sections of the communities have expressed their choice and faith on UPPL party under the banner of NDA alliance,and accordingly Sidli LAC’s choice is UPPL+BJP+AGP alliance.He said that the government of BTR and Assam government are unitedly rendering relentless services towards the welfare and uplift of the citizens since it’s inception in the reign,and achieved this juncture of development with Integrity across the Bodoland region.

He expressed his confident that the UPPL candidate, backed by the NDA alliance, Nirmal Kumar Brahma’s winning is cleared so far.He said that people’s massive support,and well wishers’ gestures are going positive to the UPPL party.
He said that all five contesting candidates of NDA alliance across the state of Assam, including Sidli LAC are getting last laugh in the bye elections.

On a question about the Opposition remarks, Boro has denied the allegations of Hagrama Mohilary,the then chief of BTC that the Mohilary and BPF party has lost it’s based amongst the citizens,and marking unnecessary remarks and allegations against the BTR government.
He informed that the Bodoland region now gets permanent peace and tranquility amongst the citizens.
He said that Hagrama Mohilary,and BPF party is now become irrelevant,and untouchability in the region.
