KOKRAJHAR,AUG 16: The sixth death anniversary of the former Prime Minister,Bharat Ratna,Atal Bihari Vajpayee was observed at the Sadaiv Atal, Rajghat in New Delhi on Friday, amidst presence of leaders and dignataries including the Prime Minister, Narenpdra Modi,Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh.
The event was organised by the Atal Smriti Nyas,New Delhi to commemorate the contributions and dedication of Atal Bihari Vajpayee towards the development and welfare of the country.
The chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Pramod Boro graced the occasion representing the Bodoland region,and paid tributes to the great leader Bharat Ratna,Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
CEM Boro,who is also UPPL president graced the Prarthana Sabha being organised on the occasion.
He recalled contributions and dedication of Bharat Ratna Vajpayee who devoted to the nation and the people in his life.He stated that former prime minister, Vajpayee was one of tallest statemen of the country.
