KOKRAJHAR,MAY 8: Chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Pramod Boro today met governor of Assam,Gulab Chand Kataria at his office Raj Bhawan, Guwahati and apprised him of various issues concerning the Bengali community in Bodoland Territorial Region and other matters of the region.
A six member delegation team from BTR region led by CEM Pramod Boro met governor Kataria and discussed at length on several range of issues related to the upliftment of the Bengali community in BTR and other matters concerning the region.
The team sought his guidance and suggestions to help to make efforts to resolve issues soon in the Bodoland region in days to come.
The team expressed their happiness and gratitude after the meeting, said that it was a good meeting with His Excellency Governor of Assam, Kataria.
CEM Boro said that today he and his team met governor Kataria at his office in Raj Bhawan.
He informed that the meeting had a fruitful discussion and shared information about the brings healthy welfare and uplift in the region.
” Today, I called on His Excellency Hon’ble Governor Shri Gulab Chand Kataria ji at his office to apprise him of various issues concerning the Bengali community in BTR and other matters of the region. During the meeting, we discussed a range of issues related to the upliftment of the Bengali community in BTR and several other matters concerning the region. We sought his guidance and suggestions to help us make efforts to resolve these issues soon”,Boro added.
During the visit,Boro was accompanied by Swapan Das, ex chief Adviser of All BTC SC Students Union; Khagen Baisya, Ex Chief Adviser of All Assam Bengali Federation; Bharat Das, ex BTF Chairman; and Sadhan Baishya, Ex President of All Assam Jatiyo Parisad.
