KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 22: A meeting between chief executive member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and UPPL president, Pramod Boro and intellectuals/ leaders representing Bengali community of BTR, region was held today at Conference Hall of DC office in Tamulpur.
The meeting discussed elaborately on various issues of the Bengali community including developmental aspects, educational, social upliftment etc.The meeting had a fruitful discussion took place on various issues concerning the Bengali community living in the area.CEM Boro assured for extending developmental activities and cooperation towards the welfare and uplift of the Bengali community in Bodoland Territorial Region.
“The Bengali community in BTR is known for being hardworking and peace-loving, and the government of BTR is committed to ensuring all-round development for their progress and happiness”, Boro added.
BTCLA speaker Katiram Boro, MLA Jolen Daimary, BTR MCLA & general secretary (organisation), UPPL Madhab Chandra Chetry, EM(BTR), Dr Nilut Swargiary, UPPL’s senior leader Sabda Ram Rabha were also present in the meeting.
