KOKRAJHAR, NOV 20: The government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) celebrating the peace organised a thanksgiving programme at SAI stadium in Kokrajhar on Monday.
A huge gathering participation was witnessed to mark the completion of three year in the government of UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government in Bodoland Territorial Region.
The government of BTR have extended thanks to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma who have extended their warm support during the government formation as well as rendering services public of the Bodoland Territorial Region.
The monumental celebration of peace & progress included virtual addressed by distinguished personalities, including Rajmohan Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi; Tapan Kumar Deka, IPS Director IB, Govt of India; Dr. Niketu Iralu, statesman & peace Activist; and Nitin Gokhale, strategic analyst.
A spellbinding spectacle unfolded at the Shanti Samriddhi Samaroh – thanksgiving & celebrating peace programme, as thousands of citizens of BTR lit their torches to illuminate BTR’s path to peace & progress.
The celebration also saw attraction with showcase of multi community cultural demonstration.
Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, Assam cabinet minister Ashok Singhal, Assam cabinet minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Gabinda Chandra Basumatary, deputy CEM of BTR, MLAs Lawrence Islary, Jiron Basumatary, Joyanta Basumatary, BTR executive members were prominent attendees in the event.
CEM Boro said that the Bodoland region, once home to violence and fear, has transformed into a land of peace and progress with gaining up more ushering of peace and sustainable development. He has expressed his sincere gratitude to PM Narendra Modi Ji, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, and Chief Minister of Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma dangoriya for their unwavering efforts in ushering peace in Bodoland Territorial Region.
He informed that the BTR government has celebrated the thanksgiving ceremony to mark the third year completion of the BTR government which have witnessed a grand success of the celebration.

Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma while highlighting the prevailing of peace and progress in Bodoland Territorial Region, said that the government of BTR has celebrated the thanksgiving ceremony on the completion of three year in the reign where thousands of citizens cutting across the communities joined the ceremony.
