KOKRAJHAR, MAR 1: Pramod Boro,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), and the seven member delegation team representing All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) & ex-NDFB met Union Home Minister, Amit Shah at Krishna Menon Marg, New Delhi on Friday, and discussed deeply over the the implementation of remaining clauses of the BTR Peace Accord 2020, withdrawal of cases against NDFB cadres and solution of ST Hills issue of Bodos in the Karbi Anglong district.
Remarkably, the BTR Peace Accord (Bodoland Territorial Region) was signed on 27th January, 2020 in a tripartite political peace talks that brought an inclusive solution of the Bodo issues.
The BTR accord was regarded as third Bodo Peace Accord in the history of Bodo politics.
The delegation team was led by CEM (BTR), Pramod Boro,, and members were Deputy CEM, Gobinda Chandra Basumatary, Rajya Sabha MP, Rwngwra Narzary, ABSU president Dipen Boro,vice president Khwrwndao Wary, General Secretary Khanindra Basumatary, ex-NDFB leader Danswrang Narzary, President of Karbi Anglong District Committee ABSU, Kalyan Rabha Brahma.
CEM Boro informed that the Union Home Minister, Shah had paid kind patience while heard of the issues about the remaining implementation of the clauses of the BTR peace accord, and he assured for bringing healthy implementation to the BTR peace accord clauses in days to come.
