Swearing-in ceremony of BTC Executive Members Tomorrow
KOKRAJHAR, OCT 13: The expansion of the Executive Council of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) under the leadership of Hagrama Mohilary,the CEM of BTC has been made with induction of 12 Executive Members (EM) on Monday within a couple of days since formation of new Govt of BTC on October 5.
The prominent figures of the newly inducted EMs of the BTC council included Rabiram Narzary,Prakash Basumatary, Mrityunjay Narzary,Derhasat Basumatary,Moonmoon Brahma,Paniram Brahma,Dhiraj Borgoyary,Begum Akhtara Ahmed,Augustush Tigga,Ganesh Kochary,Lwmsrao Daimary and Fresh Mushahary.
Notably, during the recent concluded BTC elections, BPF won 28, UPPL 7 and BJP 5 respectively of the 40 member house of the BTC Legislative Assembly.
The swearing-in ceremony of the Executive Members (EMs) of the 5th Executive Council of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) is scheduled to be held tomorrow at the BTCLA Auditorium, Bodofa Nwgwr, Kokrajhar.
Mukesh Chandra Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Assam, Welfare of Bodoland Department and Women and Child Development Department, will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the Executive Members. The ceremony will mark the formal induction of the EMs into the newly constituted BTC government.
