BTC elections – Pramod Boro, Hagrama Mohilary files nomination paper

KOKRAJHAR, SEP 2: Several heavyweight candidates from different political parties including Promod Boro,the CEM of Bodoland Territorial Region and UPPL president, Hagrama Mohilary,BPF president and Kampa Borgoyary,former deputy chief of BTC 
filed their nomination papers for the BTC elections on Tuesday.

A total of 102 candidates from different political parties and independents have been filed their nomination papers from 12 constituencies in the entire Kokrajhar district on the last day of the nomination filling on Tuesday.The elections of the BTC would be held on 22nd September for 40 constituencies.

UPPL president Promod Boro filed the nomination of his party’s candidate from Dotma constituency. After filing his nomination, CEM Boro remarked.. Former BTC deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary filed his nomination paper before the Returning Officer at District Election office complex for Debatgaon constituency.Borgoyary is contesting the Debatgaon on UPPL ticket against the BPF president Hagrama Mohilary.

Hagrama Mohilary, BPF president and former chief of BTC filed his nomination paper today for the Debargaon constituency.

CEM Pramod Boro said that the UPPL party is contesting in all 40 constituencies,and winning majority seats in the upcoming BTC elections.He said that the UPPL party is getting mass support cutting across the communities in the region as government of BTR has been working dedicatedly towards the welfare and development of the society.He stated that the government of BTR has launched various humanity welfare initiatives across the region,and many schemes are so far implemented properly.He is confident that the UPPL party is winning the heart of citizens in Bodoland region.
