KOKRAJHAR,FEB 28: The Bodoland University, a premier educational institution in Bodoland Territorial Region, celebrated its 16th foundation day with a befitting programme scheduled grand style, alongside the observing National Science Day, at the Jwhwlao Nileshwar Brahma Auditorium Hall of the university in Kokrajhar on Friday.
The event witnessed the convergence of distinguished guests and scholars from various fields that gathered a good discussion on the educational uplift and development.
Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Along with him, Dr. Prodeep Phukan FRSC, Director of the College Development Council and Professor of Chemistry of Guwahati University, was also present as a guest speaker.
Dr. Babu Lal Ahuja, Vice-Chancellor of the Bodoland University, and Dr. Surat Narzary, president of Bodo Sahitya Sabha, were graced as guests on the occasion.
The celebration was a momentous occasion, not only marking the growth of Bodoland University but also acknowledging the pivotal role of science in shaping the future.
The event highlighted the university’s continued commitment to academic excellence and the promotion of scientific inquiry.
CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro has extended his warm greetings to the authorities of the university on it’s foundation day as well celebration of the National Science Day on Friday that marked a milestone journey of the Bodoland University on the educational uplift services in the region.He said that the Bodoland University is regarded as a a premier educational institution in Bodoland region,and accordingly the government of BTR has been emphasizing for bringing massive ushering of development of the university in days to come.He has announced Rs one crore as a financial support from the BTR Government for the promotion of research and study development in the university.
CEM Boro visited an the exhibition and poster presentation, organised to showcase the research and innovation being undertaken in BTR.
