KOKRAJHAR, JAN 12: A joint district level coordination meeting of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and United Peoples’ Party Liberal (UPPL) of Kokrajhar district was held at Bodofa Cultural Complex, Chandamari in Kokrajhar on Friday.
The joint meeting was carried out to make strong strengthen the bio and UPPL parties ahead the coming parliamentary elections in the country.
Both the ruling parties have decided to initiate a joint venture while building up a strong coordination between the two parties in days to come.
President of UPPL & the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro, Assam cabinet ministers Cabinet Minister, Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Ashok Singhal, UPPL general secretaries, Raju Kumar Narzary, Madhab Chandra Chetry (Org), Hon’ble MLAs, Lawrence Islary, Jiron Basumatary, BTR executive members Ranjit Basumatary, Ukil Mushahary, Wilson Hasda,Reoreoa Narzihary, Dhananjay Basumatary, Arup Kumar Dey were prominent attendees in the event.
CEM Pramod Boro said that the meeting discussed thoroughly over the strengthening the deep relationship and integration between UPPL and BJP party in the region. He said that the alliance partner UPPL and BJP party have been agreed to work out jointly with dedicated manner.He said that both the parties have so far initiated joint ventures to get majority support during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state as well Bodoland region.
“In view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the meeting is a first ever coordination meeting in district level between UPPL and BJP party, and emphasized to keep up a healthy communication within the alliance parties “, he said adding that the people of Bharat have decided to bestow PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji with a historic third term, and the UPPL stands shoulder-to-shoulder with our allies, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), towards ensuring a landslide victory in the polls.
He said that the UPPL and BJP parties are fully prepared to participated the Lok Sabha elections across the state.
Minister Singhal said that the joint meeting have prepared necessary strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state of Assam as well Bodoland region He said that the BJP and UPPL parties have a good understanding and cooperation in the alliance government,and subsequently rendering services for the uplift and development of the citizens.He said that NDA partners will have candidates in the Lok Sabha constituencies across the state of Assam in the ensuing parliamentary elections.
