Assam Chief Secretary Dr Kota reviews preparations for Budget Session in BTC

KOKRAJHAR,FEB 12: The Chief Secretary of Assam, Dr. Ravi Kota on Wednesday visited the BTC.Legislative Assembly and conducted a comprehensive review of the preparations for the upcoming Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly (ALA), scheduled to be held at BTCLA, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar, on February 17, 2025.

Chairing the review meeting, Dr. Kota stressed the importance of meticulous planning and flawless execution to ensure the smooth conduct of the session.
He directed BTC Principal Secretary Akash Deep to finalize all necessary logistical arrangements on a war footing, in coordination with various departments.
The review meeting was attended by BTC Principal Secretary Akash Deep, Kokrajhar District Commissioner Masanda Magdalin Pertin, Superintendent of Police Pushpraj Singh, along with Secretaries and Heads of Departments of the Bodoland Territorial Council.

Dr. Kota and officials also inspected the session hall, designated office chambers, and key locations at BTCLA, Kokrajhar, to assess the readiness for the upcoming session.
Meanwhile, Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Council, lauded and welcome the upcoming Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly to be held in Kokrajhar, said that the peoples are waiting to host the assembly session in Kokrajhar.

The officials of Bodoland Territorial Council Secretariat and Assembly Secretariat have also expressed their gratitude and welcome the Budget Session of the Assam Legislative Assembly in Kokrajhar, said that the event will be regarded as historic for the peoples of the region.
