Adivasi organisations extend support NDA candidate in Kokrajhar HPC

KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 26: The Adivashi Welfare & Development Council (AWDC) and 12 organisations of Adivashi community including All Adivashi Students Association of Assam (AASAA) have extended support to the NDA alliance candidate, Joyanta Basumatary for 1No.Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

A meeting of the Adivashi organisations was held at Chandrapara in Kokrajhar on Friday where leaders representing 13 organisations of the Adivashi community were present,and decided to extend fully support to the NDA alliance candidate, Joyanta Basumatary.

Speaking the reporters after the meeting, Chairman of Adivashi Welfare & Development Council, Ashim Hasda informed that all organisations of the Adivashi community and AWDC have resolved a resolution to extend fully support the NDA alliance(BJP , AGP,UPPL) candidate, Joyanta Basumatary in the Lok Sabha elections scheduled to be held on 7th May in Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency.

He said that the Adivashi peoples in the state of Assam has attained the Adivashi Welfare & Development Council under the leadership of NDA alliance within the state of Assam,and accordingly the Adivashi organisations have decided to extend support to the NDA alliance candidate in Kokrajhar Lok Sabha.
“We are optimistic that the people of Adivashi community in the state is getting due dignity and development under the leadership of NDA alliance in days to come as we achieved the existing AWDC council to work for welfare and uplift of the Adivashi community.The Adivashi community leaders and organisations have decided to extend fully support to the NDA candidate Joyanta Basumatary in Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency”, Hasda said.

He also appealed the common masses and people of the Adivashi community to vote in favour of NDA alliance candidate Joyanta Basumatary in the scheduled election on 7th May.
