KOKRAJHAR, OCT 12: The All Bodo Student,s’ Union (ABSU) has been eyed properly implementation of the Bodo Peace Accord clauses,and accordingly appealed the Government of India to expedite the Bodo Accord Implementation by holding discussion between the govt of India, govt of Assam and ABSU delegation for the speedy implementation of the Bodo Peace Accord, 2020.
Addressing the reporters at the Bodofa House in Kokrajhar on Sunday, ABSU president Dipen Boro said the student organisation has taken several key resolutions during its extended executive meeting held on October 10, 2025, held at Haradatta–Biradatta Community Hall, Rangia.
Boro said ABSU will organise rallies in all district headquarters during this October 2025 itself to press for the implementation of the Bodo Peace Accord clauses. He further announced that the students union will stage a demonstration in New Delhi in the first week of November next demanding the passage of the 125th Amendment to the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution of India.
Highlighting the outcomes of the executive meeting, the ABSU president w****#said the organisation aims to strengthen its educational, sporting, and socio-political initiatives under its ongoing, mission. Key resolutions include:
Conducting the 10th Central Talent Search Examination 2025 to be held on December 14, 2025, for students of Classes IX and X, the students prepared necessary strategy for holding the exams.
Organising career counselling and motivation programmes across schools and colleges under the Mission Quality Education Movement.
Reiterating the demand for a special TET examination for Bodo medium teachers of the Sixth Schedule areas, as discussed with the Education Minister of Assam.
Organising an Under-13 Boys and Under-15 Girls Football Tournament in two zones — Chirang and Udalguri — during October and November 2025.
