ABSU expresses concern on question papers leake out

KOKRAJHAR,MAR 9: The All Bodo Students Union(ABSU) expresses it’s serious concern on the question papers leaked out of the ongoing HSLC final examination of 2023, especially question paper of English subject that held on 6th March.

In a press statement issued to the media on Thursday, assistant general secretary and education secretary of ABSU, Dinesh Brahma and Swmaosar Basumatary have expressed their resented for the undesirable and unacceptable happening and strongly condemns the irresponsible and unfair conduct of the people concerned in conducting the examinations.

"It is bothering and alarming to learn that the question papers of English subject of the ongoing HSLC examination under SEBA were reportedly leaked before the exams which had started on third March.
It is also equally worrying to know that the question paper of Mathematics was widely circulated on social media just after the exam was started on 6th March, 2023",the student union leaders said adding that it was feared that the question paper of Mathematics was shared to several mobile phones from an examination centre.

The All Bodo Students Union expresses serious concern on this undesirable and unacceptable happening and strongly condemns the irresponsible and unfair conduct of the people concerned in conducting the examinations. Cheating and using of unfair means by the students during examinations have been discouraged and condemned by ABSU as the Union propagates quality education.

"We demand the Government of Assam that a stern action be taken against those involved in this dishonest practice in order to ensure fair and smooth conduct of examinations for all the students in the state".

The student union urges all the students to appear in the remaining examinations without using any unfair means and also request the responsible invigilators and examiners to conduct the exams imposing strict discipline and fair methods.
