ABSU delegation meets BU vice chancellor

KOKRAJHAR,JAN 29: The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) met the vice chancellor of the Bodoland University on Wednesday at the office of the university,and urged the university authority to solve regarding various academic and administrative developmental aspects of the university.

A six member delegation team of the students union,led by it’s president Dipen Boro,and discussed at length on the welfare and development initiatives for enhancing of the academic and administrative concerns to enhance the institution’s overall development.
The students union demanded initiative of conduct of the recruitment of teaching faculty and staff for addressing the need for recruitment of 34 vacant teaching positions, including Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and other official staff, urging the sanctioning of 59 non-teaching staff to strengthen administrative operations, 
establishment of Udalguri Campus and starting the academic session at the earliest.

The students union demanded timely examination and result declaration: ensuring timely conduct of examinations and result declaration to safeguard students’ future prospects,proposing the start of a coaching center to prepare students for competitive civil service examinations and emphasizing the overall development of the university and its infrastructure to create a better academic environment.

ABSU president Dipen Boro stated  that a meeting with Bodoland University Vice-Chancellor was held on key academic and administrative issues in the university, and discussed thoroughly over the educational issues and development aspects.

” Today, we had a crucial discussion with the Vice-Chancellor of Bodoland University regarding various academic and administrative concerns to enhance the institution’s overall development.The discussions aimed at addressing these critical issues to enhance the academic and administrative efficiency of Bodoland University”, Boro added.
