KOKRAJHAR,AUG 16: The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) strongly condemned the firing incident at New Roni village along the Assam-Nagaland border under Golaghat district.
The incident took place on Friday where four persons were sustained injuries.
The students union issued a press statement on Saturday that strongly condemns a firing incident and bullet injuries sustained by Prakash Boro (seriously injured), Dhanajay Khakhlary, Shibsard Basumatary, and Kuchal Muchahary. The incident occurred yesterday at New Roni village on the Assam-Nagaland border under Goalghat district, where Naga miscreants attacked individuals from the Sisupani area, leading to their admission to Jorhat Medical College.
ABSU demands immediate arrest and stringent punishment for the culprits, urging the Chief Ministers of Assam and Nagaland to provide adequate security and appealing to border residents to maintain peace.
