KOKRAJHAR, MAY 27: A massive protest rally was carried out on Monday in Dudhnoi of Goalpara in protest against the gangraped of two minor girls in Dudhnoi, and the subsequent murder of innocent youth identified as Hiranmoy Khaklary.
Thousands of protestors, and citizens participated the rally with holding banner,placards against the gangraped of two minor girls,and brutally murder of a youth recently at Dudhnoi in Goalpara district.
The rally was organised by the All Bodo Students Union (ABSU),representatives from various organisations, and local citizens participated in the protest rally.
The ABSU demanded that the accused rapists identified as Dhan Ali Talukdar, Bahar Ali and Rahman Ali and murders of innocent youth Hiranmoy Khaklary, Shekbar Ali and Permina Begum be given highest punishment amounting to death by hanging till death under the penal laws of India.
The ABSU demanded that the case of gang rape and murder case be done in Fast Track Court.
The students union also demanded grant interim compensation of Rs. 20 Lakh, to the kin of Hiranmoy Khaklary and Rs 5 lakh each to rape victims.
ABSU president Dipen Boro strongly condemned the incident,and demanded a strict punishment to the involved culprits.He said that the students unions will continue its protest against the incident untill the culprits be published.
