KOKRAJHAR, JULY 15: Chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro inaugurated the first ever coaching and counselling centre developed by the Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Development Mission of government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) on Saturday on the occasion of celebrating the world youth skills day being held at ITI centre, Dhawliguri in Kokrajhar.
The initiative has been stepping under the aegis of SEED department of Bodoland Territorial Region government with a noble vision of creating a “Skilled BTR” as government has been working concertedly to plant an ecosystem for nurturing talents, skills and innovation of the citizens, particularly, the youth across the region.
The newly established coaching and counselling centre, with state-of-the-art facilities for imparting training via hybrid mode- both online and offline, will go a long way towards achieving the goal of bringing human resources development.
The clinical as well as career counselling services will be available at free of cost. The first batch of youth will undergo preparatory training for clearing examinations of SSC, banking services, GDA, etc.
CEM Boro has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the skilled youths on the happy occasion of world skills youth day, said that the day is an important for the youths those are successfully skilled in their respective disciplines.
He has said that the BTR government is committed to work for the welfare and development of the youths and initiated various mission and vision across the region to make healthy development of the youths. He has expressed his hopeful that the newly established coaching and counselling centre would be benefitted for the coming up generations while acquiring knowledge on various aspects.

BTR executive member Wilson Hasda , MLA Lawrence Islary were prominent attendees in the event.
Meanwhile, CEM Boro also inaugurated a Boys’ Hostel and laid the foundation stone for the construction of another educational infrastructure at Bineswar Brahma Engineering College in Kokrajhar.
The government of Bodoland Territorial Region has been emphasizing for uplifting the education infrastructure remains a top priority for Govt of BTR , and accordingly taking necessary measures to fulfill commitment and promises of the government.
