KOKRAJHAR, JULY 10: An orientation programme for the members of Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly (BTCLA) was organised on Monday at BTCLA Auditorium Hall to impart and share for a better understanding of parliamentary procedures.
All elected members of the BTCLA and senior officials of government of Bodoland Territorial Region were participated the programme.
Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly, Biswajit Daimary, CEM (BTR), Pramod Boro, deputy CEM,Gabinda Chandra Basumatary, BTCLA speaker Katiram Boro, MLA Bhuban Pegu were addressed the programme.
The programme was organised by Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly which has been aimed at bringing all members of BTCLA together for a better understanding of parliamentary procedures & the role of members, with special emphasis on Bodoland Territorial Council.
CEM Boro while highlighting the importance of the orientation programme, said that it was a very necessity to make well orientation event amongst the elected members of the legislative assembly in BTC.He has lauded the initiative and expressed his hopeful that the program will be benefitted for the members of the BTCLA.
He said the objective of the programme was to foster a deeper understanding of parliamentary procedures and the responsibilities of the members of the BTCLA.
