KOKRAJHAR, SEP 16 : With just a few days left for the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections, the political atmosphere in the region has reached fever pitch, with all major parties intensifying their campaigns to connect with voters.
On Tuesday, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region and UPPL President Pramod Boro spearheaded a series of election rallies at Nichima Constituency, extending full support to party candidate Ranjit Basumatary and Shyamtgaibari for Chirang Constituency candidate, Saikhong Basumatary.
The rallies saw huge gatherings, with people turning out in large numbers to listen to the party’s vision for the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
Addressing the crowd, Pramod Boro expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Nichima and Chirang Constituencues for the overwhelming support and blessings they have showered on the UPPL and its candidates throughout the campaign trail.
Highlighting the UPPL’s commitment to peace, development, and good governance, the CEM urged voters to give a decisive mandate to the party so that its ongoing developmental initiatives could be taken to the next level.
He said that the UPPL party is getting majority seats in the BTC elections,and accordingly people cutting across the communities are coming forward to extend support to the UPPL party.He said that the government of BTR is committed to work for all round development of the citizens.
” A massive turnout at Nagalbhanga as people from every community of 16 No. Nichima and Shyamtgaibari of Chirang constituency came out in huge numbers to show their support for UPPL. With such overwhelming love and blessings from the People, nothing can stop UPPL’s march to victory”, CEM Boro added.
