CEM Pramod Boro addresses election rally in Udalguri

KOKRAJHAR,SEP 15 : With just a week left for the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections scheduled on September 22, the different political parties including United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL),BJP,BPF have intensified their campaign across the region.

On Monday, the UPPL’s Sankalp echoes through Udalguri – standing for BTR’s “Maa, Maati, Jaati, Shiksha, and Shant in Bodoland Territorial Region.

The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region and UPPL President Pramod Boro led a massive Sankalp election rally at Udalguri town in support of UPPL party’s candidates.

Thousands of party supporters and well wishers participated in the rally that saw enthusiastic environment.

The rally venue witnessed enthusiastic public participation, with people turning up in large numbers to extend their support to the UPPL candidate and the party’s vision for a developed and peaceful BTR.

Pramod Boro said, “The overwhelming response we are seeing across constituencies shows people’s trust in UPPL’s vision for peace, development, and progress in the BTR. We are committed to inclusive growth, women empowerment, better education, and lasting peace. We appeal to everyone to support UPPL for a brighter future,” Pramod Boro said while addressing the rallies. He said that the UPPL is forming the BTC government with winning majority seats in the elections.

He said that the UPPL’s Sankalp echoes through Udalguri – standing for BTR’s “Maa, Maati, Jaati, Shiksha, and Shanti”.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed and election campaign at South Aflagaon playground in Kokrajhar in support of BJP candidates for the BTC elections for Rajib Brahma of Banargaon Constituency and Manaranjan Brahma of Dotma constituency. Sarma said that the BJP party is winning majority seats in the BTC elections.
