KOKRAJHAR, JUNE 14: In a step towards the ushering of sports’ arena in Bodoland Territorial Region,the first ever Bodoland CEM Cup 2025 has been kicked off on Saturday across the BTR districts.
The event has been organised by the Govt of BTR,which has been regarded as Assam’s biggest football celebration, the Bodoland CEM Cup 2025, got off to a rousing start in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) with the inaugural VCDC-level match across the 420 VCDCs in the Bodoland region.
The centrally inauguration of the sport’s event has been withessesd held at Borigaon VCDC, under No. 37 Dhwnsri (ST) BTR Constituency in Udalguri district.
The opening ceremony was graced by the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Pramod Boro, who inaugurated the event and delivered an inspiring address.
CEM Pramod Boro emphasized the vital role of sports in fostering peace, unity, and youth empowerment, urging young players to embrace football not just as a game, but as a platform for personal and social development.
