KOKRAJHAR, JUNE 7: The Central Selection Board (CSB),an autobiography body, government of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) stated that the written examination for grade-III posts will be conducted on June 15 in various departments in the districts of BTC.
Several hundreds of candidates who applied for the posts of BTC’s grade-III written examination scheduled to be held on June 15 next in various departments, creates confusion among the candidates as the circulation of the Central Selection Board (CSB) did not mention the specification whether a candidate can apply more than one department.
The CSB on Saturday has made clarification that the candidate who applied for multiple departments will have to appear the written examination on June 15 and those who pass out the written test, their testimonial would be thoroughly checked and would be entitled only in one department.
Addressing to reporters at a press conference at Bodoland Guest House in Kokrajhar, the Chairman of the CSB,Dr Dipak Kumar Basumatary told that there had been an option for applying more than one department and the candidates would be sent online admit card as per their option mentioned in the application form and the examination for all departments would be conducted by the Bodoland University on the same day on June 15. He said the sucessful candidates in the written examination would be called for viva where they will decide their option for the department.
Basumatary said there had been 416 posts in various departments and altogether 47,068 candidates applied for the posts while the written test would be held in 75 centres of BTC.
Meanwhile, the president of the ABSU Dipen Boro said that he learnt some discrepancies in sending online admit card to candidates for the ensuing Grade- III posts of BTR scheduled to be held on 15 June, to be conducted by Bodoland University under the Central Selection Board. He said he had telephonic conversation with Dr. Dipak Kr. Basumatary, Chairman of the CSB to look into the matter and he assured to clarify through press meet on Saturday.
