KOKRAJHAR,APRIL 10 : In a significant initiative, a discussion focusing on the unity and current state of the Bodo community was held at Bodofa House, Baganshali in Kokrajhar on Wednesday.
The meeting was chaired by Dipen Boro,the president of the All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) which brought together key representatives from the All Bodo Students Union (ABSU), Bodo Sahitya Sabha, ex-BLT Welfare Cooperative Society, and ex-NDFB Welfare Association.
With a shared vision of fostering social harmony and solidarity, the stakeholders engaged in an open dialogue aimed at strengthening unity and promoting reconciliation within the Bodo community.
The discussion underscored the importance of collective responsibility, mutual understanding, and renewed commitment to preserving the community’s identity and aspirations.
Speakers from the attending organisations have highlighted that the future of the Bodo community lies in collaborative efforts, acknowledging the diverse contributions of various sections of society.
The participants also reiterated the need to rise above past differences and work towards a united and empowered future.
ABSU president Dipen Boro stated that the meeting emphasised towards the welfare and development of the greater Bodo community.He said that all attending stakeholders have shared their views and opinions on the building of integration and tranquility amongst citizens to have a healthy environment.
