KOKRAJHAR, MAY 15: Stepping for bringing massive ushering of healthy educational infrastructure in Bodoland Region, the UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government is being taken up on mission mode across the Bodoland region.
On Monday, chief executive member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), laid the foundation stone for the construction of additional classroom at Debargaon Higher Secondary School in Kokrajhar.
The classroom would be constructed with an amounting of Rs.95.22 lakh to facilitate healthy classroom services for the students in the school.
Boro also laid two more foundation stones for construction roads under the Mukya Mantri Paki Path Nirman Achani (MMUPPNA) scheme in Kokrajhar district which included PK Road to Kashipara Molandubi Road via Haribhita and Thanadarpara measuring length of 2.75 kms and Simbargaon to Hekaipara road (West Titaguri) measuring length of 2.30 kms.
CEM Boro while highlighting about the transformation of educational infrastructural development in Bodoland region,said the BTR government is being taken up on mission mode in the educational field in Bodoland region.
He said that BTR government is committed to work for all round development amongst the citizens.
” The transformation of educational infra is being taken up on mission mode by our Govt of BTR. With that aim in mind, today laid the foundation stone of the construction of additional classroom at Debargaon Higher Secondary School in Kokrajhar”, Boro said.
On the road connectivity,Boro informed that the BTR government has been emphasizing for bringing strong and healthy development of road connectivity across the region.He said that a deep strategy has been initiated to make rural connectivity in the region and subsequently laid foundation stones in Kokrajhar today.
” The laying foundation stones for rural projects are being carried out across BTR in a bid to boost the rural connectivity in the region and benefit the people with improved roadways”, Boro said.
