KOKRAJHAR,MAR 24: A 10 member team of brilliant young students from Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) have been left for Ahmedabad to visit the Space Applications Centre (SAC) of ISRO in Ahmedabad of Gujrat.
The student’s team left for Ahmedabad on Monday via air from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati.
The student’s team was accompanied by BTR executive member (EM), Wilson Hasda and Nilutpal Kashyap (OSD, Education, BTC) and the delegation includes ten promising students, namely Miss Ribika Basumatary, Miss Nabashmita Daimary, Master Dhanajoy Barman, Master Kironmoy Barman, Master Juman Das, Master Rugung Muchahary, Miss Nikha Deka, Miss Monica Baskey, Miss Nirjala Mochahary, and Miss Baishali Ghosh.
The student team were seen off at Guwahati’s LGBI Airport Speaker of BTCLA Katiram Boro, MLA Lawrence Islary and MCLA Pabitra Kumar Boro.
Notably, the government of BTR has initiated the initiative of the visit of the promising young students to the ISRO in Ahmedabad,and hopeful that the visit will be benefited for the students while acquiring information and knowledge about the space and science.
CEM of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the student’s team to the ISRO, said that this is a initiative for student’s exposure from Bodoland region to the stars.
Boro has expressed his hoped that this remarkable journey which will expose them to cutting-edge space technology, inspiring them to explore new frontiers and contribute to India’s scientific advancements.
