KOKRAJHAR,DEC 2: In a political surging of the UPPL party,more than 1000 new members from different political parties joined the ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) in Tamulpur district on Sunday in the presence of Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region,and UPPL president.
The newly joined members were coming from Darrangajuli and Tamulpur block under Tamulpur district committee.
CEM Pramod Boro and senior party leaders of the UPPL party offered warm welcome and felicitation to the newly joined members who are coming from various political parties including BPF, Congress.He stated that the BTR government and UPPL party is rendering relentless services towards the welfare and development of the citizens with dedicatedly since it’s inception in the reign in BTR.He said that the BTR government is committed to work for all round development of the society,and accordingly initiated many mission and visions towards the ushering of sustainable development in the region.
He said that peoples cutting across the communities have attracted to the UPPL party as party is now gaining up it’s popularity amongst the citizens through it’s developmental and humanity welfare services,and subsequently people are pouring to join the UPPL party massive day after day.
” It is a pleasure moment to accord warm welcome to the UPPL family as more 850 new members from Darrangajuli Block and 168 new members from Dwarkuchi Primary come forward into our UPPL family.Together, let us further strengthen BTR’s journey of peace and progress, while paving the way for a brighter future for all”, CEM Boro said.
Meanwhile, the CEM of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro also laid the foundation stones for construction of various developmental projects under Tamulpur district to augmenting BTR’s infrastructure in the region.
The laying the foundation stones were included Tamulpur-Goreswar road to Hagramari village under Mukhya Mantrir Unnoto Paki Path Nirman Achoni, 2023-24, Rangia Bhutan road to Batabari (Barkhata) under Mukhya Mantrir Unnoto Paki Path Nirman Achoni, 2023-24., Repair & renovation of the ground floor and construction of first floor of Bodoland Guest House, ICBP Road from NH 127D under Dwarkuchi VCDC under SOPD, 2024-25..
CEM Boro also nnugrated the newly constructed RCC Bridge at Boroliapar,
Bishnu Rabha Park at Patharpar and Tribal Rest House at Tamulpur LAC.
” Once completed, the projects will go a long way towards empowering the people of BTR”, Boro added.
