KOKRAJHAR,NOV 11: The electioneering campaign for the bye-elections for five assembly constituencies including 31 No. Sidli LAC was concluded on Monday at 5 PM in the state of Assam.
The election campaigning program carried out different political parties in support of their respective candidates in five assembly segments gathered an attraction of campaign to woo the common voters with their respective party campaigning schedules.
On the concluding day of the campaigning in Sidii LAC, Pramod Boro,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region,Assam cabinet ministers,Ashok Singhal, Urkhao Gwra Brahma,MPs Joyanta Basumatary, Rwngwra Narzary,and several leaders of NDA alliance partners representing BJP, AGP and UPPL parties have addressed at the different places under Sidli LAC,and appealed the common masses to vote in favour of UPPL candidate, backed by the NDA alliance, Nirmal Kumar Brahma.
CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro and cabinet minister,Ashok Singhal, addressed a press conference held at the Kashikotra election steering office in Chirang, stated that the common masses across the communities are coming forward to extend support and vote in favour of NDA alliance in the bye elections.They said that the BTR region now prevailed peace and tranquility amongst the citizens since the signing of BTR Peace Accord in 2020.
CEM Boro said that the UPPL led alliance government in BTR has rendered tirelessly services across the Bodoland region towards the welfare and uplift of the common petoles,and achieved a healthy development initiatives.He said that the dawn of the era of peace, harmony, co-existence and development in BTR after the signing of the Bodo Peace Accord 2020.
” Earlier, under Hagrama Mohilary, BTC was world famous for ethnic clashes, violence, fratricidal killings and forced displacements during the BPF rule in BTC, but now, there is no more possibility of engineering any ethnic conflict as long as UPPL ,BJP leads the Government in BTR”, Boro said.
” Many people were displaced due to conflict and had to stay in relief camps during the rule of the BPF.In today’s juncture, there is no any conflict or political killing in BTR under the leadership of UPPL led alliance government “,he said.
He said that since prevailing peace and tranquility amongst the citizens in BTR, several national and local events and programs like Durand Cup, Santosh trophy, Asian Kho Khi championship, International Knowledge festival were successfully conducted.However, during the BPF rule, large number of arms and ammunitions which were used for threatening the public in the past have been recovered. Drastic reduction of crime rates in BTR as per NCRB data.
He said that the UPPL+BJP Government has created an unprecedented environment of confidence and fulfilment among the youth: 50 youth have cleared APSC in 2024, it was 25 youth in 2023. Under the UN Bodofa Super 50 Mission, a total of 382 youth from poor families have received cutting edge coaching from excellent and the best of the best coaching institutions for entering the top engineering and medical colleges of India, and for clearing the APSC and UPSC exams.
He said that the Govt of BTR achieved its sustainable development aspect in the field of peace building, progress and prosperity across the region

CEM Boro said that the UPPL party and BTR government is committed to work for all round of the society,and accordingly rendered services.
He has termed that the opposition BPF party has no human well-being aim and services aspects amongst the citizens.
He said that common peoples have avoided the opposition party in the region,and many leaders of the BPF eroded the party.
Boro said that UPPL candidate, backed by the NDA alliance, Nirmal Kumar Brahma’s winning is cleared in Sidii LAC bye-election as citizens cutting across a communities have extended their full support.
