Guv Acharya reviews developmental schemes in BTR

KOKRAJHAR, SEP 22: The Governor of Assam, Lakshman Prasad Acharya on Saturday chaired a review meeting at the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Secretariat to assess the progress of ongoing Central and State government development schemes in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

The review meeting was attended by Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, deputy  CEM, Gabinda Chandra Basumatary, BTC Legislative Assembly Speaker Katiram Boro, all Executive Members of BTR, and all council heads of departments (CHDs).

Governor Acharya emphasized the importance of timely execution of projects and encouraged the authorities to adopt innovative solutions for the region’s overall development.He stated that the government of BTR is rendering services towards the welfare for all development of the region,and subsequently achieved at this juncture today.

CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro stated that the Governor Acharya reviewed the progress of various schemes and initiatives of Govt of India, Govt of Assam and Govt of BTR.He said that the meeting has emphasized towards bringing a massive ushering of welfare and sustainable development initiatives across the region.
” It was a pleasure to join Hon’ble Governor Shri Laxman Prasad Acharya  Ji as he reviewed the progress of various schemes and initiatives of Govt of India, Govt of Assam & Govt of BTR in a meeting with the officials. 
His Excellency  urged officials to expedite all works so that the people of BTR can avail the benefits at the earliest. Hon’ble EMs, MCLAs, district administration officials along with senior officials of various depts were present in the meeting. My gratitude to  our Adarniya Rajyapal Ji for his guidance”,Boro said.

Meanwhile,the governor of Assam, Acharya also graced a tree plantation drive at BTC Secretariat Complex, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar on the occasion of International Day of Peace 2024 celebration on Saturday.The plantation drive was carried out by Green Bodoland Mission,Govt of BTR.
