KOKRAJHAR , JULY 25: A total of 11 numbers handmade single-shot rifles were recovered during an operation conducted by the Assam police in Dakshin Galajoda under the jurisdiction of the Kokrajhar Police Station on Wednesday.
The operation, based on secret information, led to the discovery of the rifles buried in the area.
Additional SP ( Crime), Pritiraj Rajkhowa informed the media, “The operation was carried out by the police based on secret information, and the arms were found in a buried condition. These weapons were previously used by an extremist group. Additionally, a pistol was seized a few days ago from Patgaon as a result of the ongoing operation.”
