KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 6: The executive member ( EM) of Bodoland Territorial Region, Ghanashyam Das of Gana Suraksha Party (GSP) has been removed as executive member of government of Bodoland Territorial Region(BTR) with an immediate effect.
The Governor of Assam through a notification vide No.E-344949/1331, has been dropped, Ghanashyam Das, an MCLA of Gana Suraksha Party (GSP) and presently serving as Executive Member BTC, as an Executive Member of the Council with immediate effect.
Notably, Ghanashyam Das, an MCLA of Gana Suraksha Party (GSP) and presently serving as Executive Member BTC, for Agriculture department as an Executive Member of the Council with immediate effect.
The chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Pramod Boro on removal of Ghanashyam Das, MCLA of Gana Suraksha Party (GSP) as BTR executive member, said that the governor of Assam has dropped Das from the executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region government.
He said that today the governor of Assam has made approval of the drop of Das from the post of executive member of BTR government,and accordingly notified the notification today.
Boro informed that the GSP leadership has broke down the alliance spirit with UPPL and BJP parties in the council, and subsequently today removed him.
He said that the UPPL and BJP alliance government is committed to work for all round development of the citizens in the Bodoland region,and initiated various mission and visions across the region.
He has expressed his hopeful that the NDA alliance candidates across the state of Assam including Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency are winning the Lok Sabha elections in a massive margin of votes.
He said that peoples cutting across the communities are coming forward to extend support to the NDA alliance candidates in elections.
