KOKRAJHAR, FEB 18: Bringing a surging message of gaining up mass momentum of UPPL party, social activist Birkhang Boro formally joined the ruling party United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) along with his over thousand supporters at a programme held at Habrubari playground under Dotma constituency in Kokrajhar district today.

Boro, who is popularly known for his social activist by rendering services by his owned Manav Seva Sangha, a social organisation in the locality.
He is hailed from the greater Dotma area by profession of businessman.
Boro, and several hundred new members from different political parties and social organisations, including BPF,AAP, Manav Seva Sangha have joined the UPPL party amidst presence of Raju Kumar Narzary, UPPL general secretary,senior party leaders.
UPPL party leaders offered warm welcome and felicitation to Birkhang Boro and new members with traditional Aronai and party mafflers.

UPPL general secretary, Narzary said that the UPPL party is now gaining up it’s popularity amongst cutting across the communities in Bodoland region.He said that the BTR government has been emphasizing for bringing massive ushering of sustainable development and welfare activities in the region.
He said that the BTR government is committed to work for all round development of the society, and accordingly initiated many human well-being activity since it’s inception in the region.
He informed that mass peoples are coming forward to join the UPPL party as the UPPL and BTR government have been rendering services for bringing healthy welfare and development.
