KOKRAJHAR, NOV 18: A grand mass gathering of ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) was organised at Debitola High School playground near Kazigaon in Parbathjora district on Saturday.
During the mass gathering, more than 300 new members from different parties and organisations including BPF, AIUDF, Congress were joined the UPPL party amidst presence of party supremo and the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod and several senior party leaders.
UPPL party offered warm welcome and felicitation with traditional Aronai and mafflers to the newly join members.
The Parbathjora district committee of the UPPL party organised the gathering which witnessed a huge participation from different areas of the district.
The chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Pramod Boro, Assam cabinet minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Rajya Sabha MP and party’s working president, Rwngwra Narzary, party’s general secretaries, Raju Kumar Narzary, Madhab Chandra Chetry, MLAs, Lawrence Islary,Jayanta Basumatary were graced the event,and addressed the gathering.
CEM Boro, who is also UPPL supremo, said that the UPPL party is now a days gaining up it’s mass support from cutting across the communities in the Bodoland region.He said that the UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government in Bodoland Territorial Region is rendering it’s services for bringing all round development of the citizens since it’s inception. He informed that several mission and visions have been launched in BTR to make massive ushering of development and welfare aspects amongst the citizens, and most of the initiatives are so far implemented with positive response.
He said that the UPPL party and BTR government is committed to work for bringing healthy integration and tranquility amongst all sections of the society.
He has promised that the BTR government has prepared various departmental development initiatives to make massive ushering of sustainable development in Parbathjora area, especially upliftment of tourism sector.
He said that the UPPL party is getting mass support from various corners as peoples from different sections are coming forward to extend support to the UPPL party.
He has lauded the organisers for carrying out the grand mass gathering which witnessed massive participation, said that the gathering was an example of mass gaining up of the UPPL party.
“It is a overwhelmed at the massive outpouring of genuine love & trust of the people of BTR towards UPPL party.This faith is a testament to the honest hardwork of our dedicated party workers”, Boro added.
