Rashtriya Ekta Divosh celebrates in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, OCT 31: Along with rest of the state, the Rashtriya Ekta Divosh (National Unity Day) was celebrated on Tuesday in Kokrajhar heart town of Bodoland Territorial Region to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, former Home Minister of India. A rich floral tributes were paid to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on the occasion.

As part of the Ekta Divosh celebration, the police administration, Kokrajhar, carried out a parade and band display at the Kokrajhar Govt Higher Secondary and Multipurpose School playground. Pushpa Raj Singh, the superintendent of police of Kokrajhar, inspected the guard of honour and salute the combat march-past by the police jawans.

The superintendent of police also administered Rashtriya Ekta Divosh pledge to the police personnel.
Singh recalled the contribution and dedication of Patel towards the integrity and unify cutting across the communities in the country. He said that the Kokrajhar as well state today remembered the great leader of the country to commemorate the sacrifice and dedication of Patel.

The NTPC Bongaigaon Salakati also celebrated the Ekta Divosh at its project complex today.
On the occasion of National Unity Day 2023, NTPC Bongaigaon Salakati paid rich tributes to Iron Man of India, Sadar Vallabhbai Patel.

Karunakar Das, the chief general manager (CGM), NTPC Bongaigaon administered Rashtriya Ekta Divosh pledge to all the employees towards their commitment to Nation’s unity & integrity.
A run for unity was organised to mark the occasion which was flagged off by Das for celebrating the birth anniversary of the visionary leader.
