Minister Mahanta reviews development & progress of KMCH 1

KOKRAJHAR, JULY 31: Assam cabinet minister for Health and Family Welfare department, Keshab Mahanta has reviewed on the development & progress of Kokrajhar Medical College & Hospital (KMCH) and discussed various pertinent issues of the medical college & hospital on Monday.

Minister Mahanta, accompanied by chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro visited at the medical college & hospital in Kokrajhar and met principal of the college and staffs and held a review meeting where principal Dr Atul Chandra Baro, teaching staff, non-teaching staff and senior administrative officials were attended.

Mahanta said that the state government and BTR government are jointly stepping up to render massive services for the welfare and uplift of the medical related issues towards the citizens. He said that necessary progress and development initiatives are undertaken by the concern department and governments for more ushering of sustainable development services in the field of health & family welfare sector in Bodoland Territorial Region as well adjoining areas.
He informed that he has reviewed deeply on the development and progress of the medical college & hospital and urged the college authority to extend massive welfare services among the citizens.

CEM Pramod Boro said that today minister Mahanta visited at the medical college and hospital in Kokrajhar since after it’s ceremonially inauguration in April last and the minister attended a review meeting with the college authority and staffs.
He said that the medical college and hospital is discharging it’s duty and responsibilities while rendering services in the region and subsequently continuing it’s humanity welfare services.
” With the post inauguration and rendering services of medical college and hospital in Kokrajhar for the citizens has been stepping out on right direction towards augmenting Bodoland Territorial Region’s health infrastructure’, Boro added.

During the review meeting, BTR executive member Dr Nilut Swargiary, MCLA Macha Chandra Chetry were also present.
